After obtaining the prestigious ERC Starting Grant a few days ago, Silvia Lasala received the Suzanne Zivi Prize from the Académie Stanislas, along with two other researchers from Lorraine.
The solemn award ceremony was held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the Grand Salon of the City Hall of Nancy. This prize, founded in 2008, is intended for young lecturers or research fellows working at the University of Lorraine who have a particularly brilliant research record.
Silvia Lasala is a lecturer at the University of Lorraine since 2018. She carries out her research in the Reactions and Process Engineering Laboratory (LRGP). Her work focuses in part on the design of reactive fluids for power thermodynamic cycles. In addition, she develops studies of the thermodynamic and transport properties of fluids involved in cryogenic processes for the separation of air components (oxygen, nitrogen argon) and participates in the improvement of the hydrogen liquefaction and storage process.
