The Université de Lorraine will be present at the Foire Expo in Nancy from 27 May to 4 June 2023, with a stand where the general public can discover and experiment with innovation. The initiative is being run by the Lorraine Fab Living Lab, ENSGSI and ERPI, in partnership with L’Octroi Nancy, a creative and civic third place. The aim of the stand is to highlight innovation with and by citizens. From virtual reality to eco-responsibility, here is a focus on the projects presented.
The VIVERES project
Sébastien Borraccino and Alaa Hassan wanted to showcase VIVERES (“Towards a Green and Responsible Industry of the Future”) on the stand, a research project on COBOTS collaborative robots. Their main objective was to present a cobotised work situation and gather the public’s impressions, making them think about the work and professions of the future. In this way, the VIVERES project seeks to encompass a societal and inclusive dimension of the citizen’s vision. Sebastien Borraccino explains why he is taking part: “We also hope to arouse the curiosity and interest of the general public in this project by having a convivial moment of exchange”.
