This multidisciplinary research field studied by a team from the Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés (LRGP | Université de Lorraine / CNRS) and the Laboratoire Sols et Environnement (LES | Université de Lorraine / INRAE), is a process that consists in recovering metals contained in low concentration soils using plants.
Marie-Odile Simonnot and Baptiste Laubie – teachers at the EEIGM and researchers at the LRGP, speak in this report about their work in the laboratory and their start-up Econick, a plant biotechnology company producing environmentally friendly metals from plants.
