Lorraine-based Actibac, a manufacturer of road shoulder maintenance equipment, has completed its project in the circular economy at the beginning of this year, with the recruitment of the first 12 work-study trainees. These future technicians are intended to support the ramp-up of the recycling and reconstruction center of its subsidiary Maneko (30 employees), in which the group has invested 7 million euros, in Toul (Meurthe-et-Moselle). The family group with 300 employees in Maizières (Meurthe-et-Moselle) has been reconditioning used machines for 15 years in its nine French branches. But its managing director, Christophe Bachmann, wanted to industrialize this process. He aims to rebuild 100 machines per year from boneless machines.
