Congratulations to the LRGP and to the CHRU of Nancy for their contributions to 3 projects of the 8 winners of the call for projects “Grand Défi Biomédicaments : améliorer les rendements et maîtriser les coûts de production”, launched by the Government within the framework of the investment plan for the future “France 2030”.
This call for projects aims to support the establishment of consortia of private and public players working on the development of new sensors (devices to collect biological information on the state of production) and their integration into bioproduction systems and the development of robotization of bioproduction processes.
Labelled “Industrial Integrator”, the MTInov platform brings together the teams of the LRGP and the CHRU of Nancy and contributes to the development of 3 projects:
IT’SME (Innovative Technology Solution For Micro/Mili Electrophoresis)
The IT’SME project aims at developing a continuous flow biomedicines purification tool of reduced size and very low cost of use, adapted to a modular factory implementation.
ACCESS (Advanced Cell Control By Spectroscopic Sensors)
In order to produce Innovative Therapy Medicines (ITM) at lower costs, the ACCESS project will optimize the production of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC-GW) thanks to the development of an on-line control system for clinical grade production.
SELPHI
The SELPHi project will develop and industrialize a new generation of sensors based on holographic imaging via cell state monitoring, without cell labeling and this at the heart of bioreactors that allow the production of therapeutic antibodies, vaccines or even immune cells, which will improve production yields thanks to real-time production quality control.
