Several technical platforms at the service of researchers and companies equipped for:
- the transformation and shaping of plastics
- thermo-chemical valorization of solids (plastics, biomass) using continuous pyrolysis, liquefaction, hydrotreatment and gasification processes
- chemical and physical treatment of ligno-cellulosic biomass: steam explosion pilot, co-rotative twin-screw extruder.
- analysis and characterization of ligno-cellulosic biomass, wood and its extractives.
A few examples of scientific and technological advances: development of impact-resistant materials made from recycled tire powder, eco-design of products from bio-sourced plastics and additives, (catalytic) pyrolysis of waste, gasification of recovered solid fuels, hydrothermal liquefaction of wet waste.
