Cold by adsorption
The ENERBAT platform is dedicated to Building Energy in connection with regional (CPER ENERBATIN), national (ADEME CDC), and international (INTERREG Pth4GR, INTERREG RCC, ERANETMED Waste2Fuel) research projects aiming at the optimal coupling of components with the building envelope and the intensification of heat and mass transfer for the improvement of energy efficiency.
ENERBAT s also used for specialized training (Master Civil Engineering, Master Energy, Master EEA).
ENERBAT comprises on the one hand a climatic chamber partitioned into a hot compartment heated by an underfloor heating system and a cold compartment cooled by a cooling ceiling, and on the other hand, energy generators for the production of electricity, hot and cold water which are listed below: a field of solar thermal collectors, a gas cogeneration unit, an adsorption refrigerating machine, a geothermal heat pump and a biomass boiler (pellets). The platform is managed Centralized Technical Management system that allows the visualization and recording of measurement data.
The latest European project (INTERREG RCC) currently underway should enable the sharing of platforms in the Greater Region and access to a transversal emulation/simulation.
