This morning, under the guidance of François Leconte, senior lecturer at the LERMAB, the IUT Hubert Curien (Epinal) vibrated to the rhythm of the wind turbines designed by 24 pupils from the Collège Jules Ferry. These budding young engineers presented the fruits of their year’s work and creativity at this eagerly-awaited competition.
Following the presentation of their wind turbine prototypes, the schoolchildren were able to test them on a test bench to assess their performance. The technical performance of the models was measured, giving the schoolchildren the chance to see the real impact of their designs.
