A new article in “The Conversation”, published by Pascal Boulet and Anthony Collin :

“To have a fire, you need three elements. Fuel (for

example: wood, essence, fabric… but not stone, nor the

concrete), we need air (more precisely the oxygen in the air that we

breathe) and a heat source (the one provided by a

match, or a spark for example).”
