On May 30, 2024, the Université de Lorraine hosted its 1st Joint France-Japan Symposium on engineering (materials, mechanics, energy, photonics) and applications (building-integrated photovoltaics, cities, etc.). The symposium was organized by :
LEM3 and the Laboratoire d’Études et de Recherche sur le Matériau Bois (Lermab) on the French side;
the Nanomaterials Research Institute of Kanazawa University (NanoMaRi) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) on the Japanese side.
