The Enstib (Ecole nationale supérieure des technologies et industries du bois d’Epinal), founded in 1985, has established itself as a leader in wood engineering training through its teaching and facilities. It will be celebrating its anniversary on May 15.
Research cluster
The Epinal school also stands out for “the research cluster that has grown up around it”, emphasizes Laurent Bléron. The school is home to researchers from three laboratories: branches of Nancy’s Institut Jean-Lamour (materials research) and CRAN (automatic control research), and one of the two sites of Lermab (the wood materials study and research laboratory).
