During a visit to Nancy for the World Materials Forum, where she was speaking, the researchers of the LRGP, the LCPM and the students of the ENSIC had the pleasure to welcome Ilham Kadri – CEO of the international chemical group Solvay, on June 16, 2022.
Invited by Guo-Hua Hu – professor and researcher at the LRGP, (his former thesis supervisor!) Ilham Kadri discovered the ENSIC campus and its historical façade “Fondation Solvay”, and the research work of the two laboratories of the CNRS and the University of Lorraine.
Hélène Boulanger, President of the University of Lorraine, Edwige Helmer-Laurent – Regional Delegate CNRS Centre-Est, Marie-Odile Simonnot – Director of the EMPP scientific pole, Marie-Christine Averlant-Petit, Director of the LCPM and Laurent Falk, Director of the LRGP thus shared a privileged moment of exchange with the chemist Ilham Kadri to evoke the stakes of the research of innovative solutions and scientific advances in the service of sustainable development.
