Thesis Defense by Odran Lemaître (LERMAB)

Odran Lemaître, a doctoral student in the CPMO (High-Performance Construction and Implementation) team at LERMaB (Laboratory for Studies and Research on Wood Materials), defended his dissertation in the Philippe Séguin Auditorium at the Campus Bois in Épinal.
Topic: “Development of interactive decision-support tools for the reuse and recycling of wood and related materials from building demolition: resource assessment, suitability for use, and environmental quality.” ”
This CIFRE (Industrial Agreement for Training through Research) thesis, conducted at Vosgelis and funded by the ANRT (National Association for Research and Technology), is part of an effort to integrate the reuse of construction materials into the standard practices of social housing providers.
This analysis is based on engineering action research conducted at a demolition-and-reconstruction site in Remiremont, in the southeastern part of the Vosges department.
