Co-funded by Erasmus+, a European Union program, the Erasmus Mundus DENSYS Master’s degree is a new standard course in the Energy Master’s program at the Faculty of Science and Technology. It offers training in the interdisciplinary fields of decentralized and intelligent energy systems (Decentralized smart ENergy SYStems). This course of excellence was built in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden), the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain) and the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy). The goal is to train students in the issues related to the energy transition. The first two semesters take place at the University of Lorraine, where students receive solid training in multiphysics engineering (mechanical, chemical and electrical engineering) and the basics of key technologies for intelligent decentralized energy systems.
