Romain Rémond, a member of LERMaB and a faculty member at ENSTIB since 2011, has been promoted to University Professor at the University of Lorraine following the review hearings held on May 4, 2026, in Épinal.
Authorized to supervise research since 2013, his work focuses on moisture and heat transfer in wood and bio-based materials, as applied to the behavior of wooden objects subjected to varying environmental conditions, to drying and heat treatment processes, and to wood construction.
