SAFE-FACADE | Sustainable Architecture for Fire Safety and Evaluation of Facades
Selected as part of the ANR’s 2025 Generic Call for Projects, the SAFE-FAÇADE collaborative research project (PRCE) aims to develop sustainable architectural solutions for fire safety in facades. Coordinated by the Pprime Institute (Thomas Rogaume), the project also brings together Saint-Gobain and EFECTIS, and the LEMTA Fire team, under the scientific leadership of Zoubir Acem.
The densification of urban centers and the search for increasingly energy-efficient buildings are encouraging the emergence of new construction systems, particularly the construction of high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
