On June 17, LEMTA staff gathered at the Domaine de l’Asnée for a day dedicated to conversation, discovery, and camaraderie.
After a welcome coffee break that allowed everyone to start the day in a relaxed atmosphere, Olivier Lottin—the laboratory’s director—shared some information about life at the laboratory and its latest news.
The morning continued with two particularly enlightening presentations. The first, presented by Simon Edelblutte, a faculty researcher at LOTERR, explored the role of the industrial landscape as a driver of regional development. The second, focused on artificial intelligence, provided an accessible overview of its origins, how it works, and its limitations, thanks to presentations by Samuel Nowakowski, Romain Serizel, and Yannick Parmentier, faculty researchers at LORIA.
