Original shape motor (axial flow) using supraconductive materials immersed in liquid nitrogen at -200°C. This allows to increase its power in a reduced volume. It is designed as part of a collaboration with the Safran group for future use in more electric aircraft.

GREEN’s research work focuses on the modelling and design of electrical energy conversion or storage devices.

Particular emphasis is given to electromechanical conversion and the use of superconductors in Electrical Engineering, especially for green mobility (electric vehicles, more electric aircraft, etc.).

  • Modeling in electromagnetism

  • Electrical machines

  • Superconductive materials

  • Energy storage (batteries, hydrogen, …)
